I love to get my exercise by jumping up and down. It is so fun and it makes me laugh.

Tyler's First Trip to the Zoo

We had the opportunity to take Tyler to the Cincinnati Zoo with his cousins Chris and Ben. It was a little chilly but it was a blast and since it wasn't crowded we had the opportunity to get some up close and personal time with the animals. ;) The Polar Bears were putting on a show by swimming laps, the Lions were roaring while we were watching them and we got to see a few of the cats eating their dinners. We are excited to head back to the Zoo when it warms up again and more of the animals are out. Until then, here are some of the creatures we got to see:

The Sloth...he was pretty active for a creature that is supposed to be so sluggish.

The Cheetah was eating something "fleshy" according to Daddy.


Sea Eagles, they were pretty cool, very close to where we were standing.
The elephants were funny...they were tring to bust down the doors with their heads.

In the Rainforest House. I enjoyed watching the Sloth.

The Regal Lions...these were Mommy's favorite.

More Fun

Exciting News!! Tyler's bottom teeth have decided to pop through his gums....very soon we will have pictures of this little guy with teeth in his mouth!! He is getting so big, I keep telling him that once he gets his teeth he won't really be a baby anymore...that makes Mommy sad. Although, I am excited to see him with a "toothy smile"! :)

Happy 2008!

Tyler is almost 6 months old now and learning new things every day! The newest trick that Tyler learned was just this past Friday and he has yet to stop "practicing". Tyler learned to blow raspberries and therefore we recommend that people wear raincoats when holding him now. It is really funny to watch. The mirror we have for him to look at in the car needs windshield wipers now!! Tyler is just such a blast and it is really hard to believe that 6 months has already gone by.
