Play Time:

I like to find new things to sit inside of now...this is a favorite of mine because I have toys all around me!! :)

Visit to Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Carl's House:

A couple of weeks back we had the wonderful opportunity to go spend some time with my Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Carl. It had been way too long since we had the opportunity to catch up and we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend with them in St. Joe's, Michigan. Since Notre Dame was on the way, we decided to take a side trip and visit the campus as well.

Looking down the ramp onto the football field. I got to see the football team leaving the locker rooms getting ready for practice. They were big guys!! But someday I will be as big as them and maybe I will even play on this field someday...who knows!?!?

Playing on the tug boats in downtown St. Joe. They had boats to play with on every corner. It was pretty neat. This one had Dr. Suess characters all over it.

Taking a break with Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Carl. It was such great weather while we were up there!

We tried to go out on the 42' boat on Saturday, but Lake Michigan was not cooperating...the waves were a little too much, so we went out and turned right back around. Next time we head up there we will spend some good time on the water.

Drying off with Aunt Marilyn. She is good at spoiling me. She told Grandma that she wasn't going to let me come home, but Grandma said she would come up there and get me! We are looking forward to seeing Marilyn and Carl again soon!

I LOVED spinning on the tire swing with Mommy. I am not sure who was more wobbly once we got off....I think Mommy might have won that prize!

Giraffe Ridge at the Cincinnati Zoo:

Mommy, Daddy, Gammy, and I went to the zoo on a gorgeous Saturday in August - we don't get too many of those. We had so much fun and saw lots of funny animals. The highlight was seeing the giraffes at Giraffe Ridge for our first time.

Checking out the giraffes right before feeding time. The zoo just got a new exhibit where people have the opportunity to feed the giraffes. It was pretty neat.
