Changing Every Day

This is a picture of how we find Tyler now when he decides to wake up. He began standing up in his crib on Monday, and were we sure surprised when we walked into his room and found him upright. We were just telling Grandma and Grandpa on Sunday how he hadn't figured out how to stand in his crib yet...well he sure showed us!! We also discovered over the weekend (after having a very lethargic and hard to please little boy) that Tyler has at least 3 more teeth coming through (he will now have 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom - at least what we can see now). Just thought we would try and keep everybody up to date on all of Tyler's many changes.

Spring Time Fun

Tyler has changed so much in just the last several days. It is amazing to see how quickly they learn and grow. He just started sitting himself up after he has been crawling around. This now means that we tend to find Tyler sitting up in his crib when we come in and he is ready to get up. He has been pulling himself up to his knees and then to a standing position on anything that he can possibly find that is low enough for him and he has begun to move between pieces of furniture while standing (not very stable with this yet, but progressing). He still continues to prefer his "army crawl" method to the traditional hands and knees crawling...but every now and then we catch him on his hands and knees taking a few "steps". He is also begun crawling over to us and holding up his arms when he wants to be picked up. I am still in awe of how quickly my baby is turning into a boy, but we are enjoying every minute of it!!!

My First Easter:

These pictures were taken at the end of the day on My First Easter. I was pretty worn out from all of the travel, egg hunting, and playing with my cousins. These pictures also sport my "new do" that my Grandpa calls the "Rock Hopper Penguin Look" because it tends to stick up in the back. We have tried to get it to settle down, but I hear fly away hair is in this season, so I think I am just going to go with it!! :)
I enjoyed learning about why we celebrate Easter, Jesus' death and Resurrection, and we are so thankful for the sacrifice that Jesus made for us so that we can spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
Eating snacks with my friend Maddie. We were having honey dew melon and it turned into a race to see who could eat the pieces before the other one. As you can see, I am pretty big now and I LOVE to stand up on my own...I would love to start walking around, but I can't quite get that balance thing down yet. I am now starting to table walk a bit which is kind of cool because I get to see new sites.
It was such a beautiful day out today that Mommy took Maddie, Gracie (the dog), and I outside to play. The grass was pretty funny feeling, but Maddie and I had a great time in the sunshine.

Tyler the Tiger

Tyler the Tiger

Tyler's new favorite noise is "the growl". We think he might be part tiger or practicing to become a future Bengal. He loves to growl while he is playing or when he gets excited. We think it is rather comical and it usually makes for a good laugh.

Tyler has had a slightly tough month with his teeth as he was cutting his top two middle teeth. One has finally come through and the other one is about to come through, so hopefully we are through the bothersome phase for these two teeth at least.

Showing off my two bottom teeth.

If you look closely, you can see one of my top teeth.

Trying to figure out why Mommy keeps sticking this camera in my face!!

Tyler Army Crawling

This video is a little bit out dated already and it was just taken yesterday, but Tyler is now pretty fast at "army crawling" to something that he wants and he is scooching his way all over the place. He has now started to get up on his hands and knees and crawl for a couple of "steps" and then decides to get back into commando position and inch the rest of the way. I just knew we had to capture the moments before he begins to really crawl quickly because they aren't lasting very long.

Fun with the Greenwells at Great Wolf Lodge

I got a chance to hang out with all of the Greenwell Girls at Great Wolf Lodge today. It was the first time that I got to put on swim trunks and I looked so adorable! I loved the water. I got in right away and started "swimming". I floated on my back in the wave pool while Mommy held my head up and Katie helped me with a few "swimming lessons" and showed me how to blow bubbles. I had fun with Allie, Mo Mo, and Kate. We had sooo much fun that after a couple of hours of swimming around, we all sacked out for our naps. Both of our Mommies were happy about that. I love to swim and I am so excited for this summer when I can go to the pool all the time!!

My New Friends Maddie and Gracie (the Dog)

I like to play in my room in front of the mirror. Now that I am "Army Crawling" all over the place, Mom has had to move a bunch of stuff. I can't wait until I am up to full speed!!

Hanging out with Gammy and Cousin Alex's 1st Birthday Party. I liked that party hat.
