Tyler's Birthday Party

Hanging outside with all the family for my first birthday party. It was a nice hot day and we had a lot of fun.
Playing with sidewalk chalk for the first time with my cousins. I created a few masterpieces, but I don't recommend eating this stuff - it doesn't taste very good!
On the other hand, cake is DELICIOUS. This is the cake that Mom and Dad got for the party...
...and this was my "doggy" cake. Below are some pictures of my first experience eating cake.

Tyler is One!!!

It is extremely amazing to believe that Tyler turned 1 yesterday. It feels like he has been a part of our life forever, yet at the same time, it seems like just yesterday we were walking out of the hospital with our new baby boy. So much has happened this year, and just to top it off, Tyler decided to start taking his first steps the day before his birthday! I am trying to catch it on video, but he is really hit or miss right now on when he chooses to walk - crawling is so much more efficient for him at this point. He loves to play "chase" now and will run away from us or try and catch us and he is still climbing up everything he can find. What an awesome little guy we have and we are so excited to watch him grow even more this next year.

Bean came to visit me on my birthday and dropped of some more presents. I got a cool zoo train and some nice clothes.

My new "video game" chair from Grandma and Grandpa. It is sooo comfortable! I can't wait to get my video game on Saturday to start lounging in front of the tv.

My favorite thing to do...climb the stairs and laugh at Mommy as she tries to catch me. :)
