Tyler Practicing his Letters

Practicing my letters. I know more than Mommy and Daddy think. They can't keep up with me! I love to find letters everywhere we go.

Playing at the Frog Bog at the Newport Aquarium. We got to go play with Maureen, Kate, and Elizabeth. It was really cool to see all of the sharks, turtles, and jelly fish. I think I would have had more fun if Mommy would have let me run around by myself more, but she said it was too crowded. Thanks Katie and Claire for taking us to the aquarium.

What a Big Boy!

Ok, so in the past few weeks, my baby is turning into a boy right in front of my very eyes! His vocabulary is growing at leaps and bounds, he is starting to string words together, he has really taken to his alphabet and can identify and pick out about 8-10 letters already. So, all of this I could handle...I was amazed, but knew it would be coming. Well, today he totally surprised me! I laid him down as usually for his nap and like in days past I could hear him in his crib playing. Nick and I were sitting in the other room when we heard a thump and the door knob jiggling. Uh oh! Next we hear some knocks on the door and a little voice yelling: "Mama! Mama!" Yep, my little "baby" climbed out of his crib! Nick and I went into his room and I placed him back in his crib just to see it with my very own eyes...sure enough, out he came!! Shortly after, I transitioned his crib into a toddler bed. After an entire day without a nap, I placed Tyler in his room around 4:00pm and shut the door. He played in there for quite a bit of time and after about 20 minutes of quietness, I went in to check on him. This is what I found:

I finally got tired of fighting sleep and decided to lay down on this comfy pillow.

Ahh, sleep is so nice.

After Mommy came in to tuck me in!

(On a side note, as I was typing this...my baby woke up from his nap, walked out of his cracked open door and said "Mama. Daddy!" Then he went straight to the refrigerator to play with his letter magnets! Nick and I both cracked up laughing!! )

Cincinnati Zoo with Aunt Gretch and Uncle Jeff:
Playing in the wolf den with Aunt Gretch watching the wolves do their figure 8's.

Climbing the fence to see if I can get any closer to that goat...

Maybe I can crawl underneath?!

Mommy and Daddy have FINALLY realized that I can walk holding their hands so they don't have to carry me like a baby!

So I was a little tired leaving the zoo...Aunt Gretch made a great pillow! Thanks Uncle Jeff and Aunt Gretch for such a fun day!

Getting ready to head out into the snow!

Brrr, it is cold out here!

Playing in the snow with Allie.

Claire pulled me on the sled. I loved getting rides, it was not as cold on top of the sled.

Tire swings are fun, even in the snow! :)

When Mommy and I are waiting in line to pick Claire up from school we like to sing: "Claire, where are you?" In this video I am saying "where are you?"
