Trip to Massachusetts:

We headed out East to surprise GG for her 80th birthday. Family and friends flew in from all over the country to surprise her and boy was she surprised. We drove out Thursday evening and arrived at 7:15am. Tyler was such a trooper in the car and he slept through the entire night. Once we arrived we had non-stop action. Below are some pictures of our adventures.

First Stop...Great Papa's House:

Riding on the Great Papa's scooter with Papa. I could have driven all day long and loved honking the horn to get the slow pokes out of my way!!

Faster Papa, Faster!!

Hanging with Mama outside. It was a pretty chilly day when we arrived.

Playing peek-a-boo!

Watching Cars...for the 3rd time! What else would I be doing?!?

We found a baby picture of Papa with his Mommy. Everyone thought that I look just like him.

Off to Cousin Kristin, Steve, and Sofia's:

Friday night we got to spend the night at Mama's cousin Kristin's house. I got to play with Sofia who is just a few months older than me. We had a great time, although she has a lot of princess stuff!

Watching cartoons on Saturday morning.

Driving trains through the princess castle!

On to Duxbury for GG's Surprise Party:

Hanging out with Papa while warming up to all of the people.

Daddy and Uncle Jeff sporting the Morris' Day t-shirts to honor GG. It was such a warm and beautiful day for GG's party.
SO surprised!! GG could not believe all of the people that came from across the country to celebrate her.
GG with her children and "out-laws".

GG and her legacy! All of the Morris children (with Uncle Paul in our hearts!)

GG and most of her Great Grandchildren. Great Grandchildren 12 and 13 are on their way this fall! :)

Daddy and me sitting down for lunch. Mama and Daddy were amazed that I actually sat down for a meal, so it had to be captured with the camera!

M&Ms that were made with GG's picture on them...I ate a lot of these! They were yummy! :)

Maddie, Paige, and Sofia - cousins and new friends!

Dancing to "Shout" with Papa.

Mama and her cousin Kristin resting after a long day of being on their feet. They said they were trying to get rid of their "cankles" whatever those are. Both are going to have baby girls this fall.

My new buddy Patrick. We got to sleep at their house the rest of the weekend and we had so much fun together.

The desserts were delicious! I loved these mini cakes.

Mama and me as the day was winding down.

Back to Great Papa's House:

Papa and Great Papa.

Great Papa with his sons (Papa, Andy, Roy), sister (Rene) and Great Grandson (Me)! :)

Papa with his Grandkids and Great Grandson. (Bean, Mama, Gretch, Andy, Keith)

Grandkids with spouses/girlfriends.

It was cousin Keith's birthday, so I got to eat MORE cake!! We need to go visit Massachusetts more often! :)

Aunt Bean, Uncle Matt, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Gretch.

They are pretty weird!!

Finally sitting with Great Papa for a picture. Had a few important calls to make. ;)

Testing out Great Papa's glasses to make sure they worked ok. I am not sure they are working, they made everything in the room look funny!

Great Papa and his Granddaughters.

GG's House on the Cape:

Hanging out waiting for a delicious seafood lunch! Thank you Aunt Amy and Cousin Kathleen!

I decided to watch Cars in GG's new wagon!

Riding on Paige's 4-wheeler. I had so much fun, I need one of my very own Mama and Daddy! (No pink and purple though!!)

BOSTON:

Swan Boats in Boston Commons.
GG, Mama, and me waiting to board the swan boats.

Uncle Jeff, Aunt Gretch, and GG on the boat. We saw lots of ducks in the water and a couple of swans on the bank sitting on nests. I am so glad that GG got to take me on the Swan Boats, so many great memories!

Walking with Daddy to catch the sites in Boston.

On the Freedom Trail. Such a fun day with GG!

We had lunch at the Green Dragon Tavern which was around before the Revolution. It has a really cool history and the Revolutionaries used to spy on the British from a secret room behind the restaurant.

Checking out Daddy's lunch. YUMMY lobster!!

The Beach!:

My first time at the beach. I ran right down to the water, but I wasn't too sure about the waves. I mostly stood on the edge and threw rocks in the water.

Until Mommy showed me how to jump over the waves. Then I loved to walk into the ocean up to my chin and swim back to shore with the waves. I can't wait to get back to the beach and play some more.

Since it was the end of the day, we got to sit in the lifeguard's chair. It was very tall and I am glad Patrick sat with me! :)

We had to get some yummy ice cream after such a wonderful day!

I loved my trip back to Massachusetts. Mama says next time we go back I will have a Baby Sister with me. I will be sure to show her the ropes and tell her all about the fun things to do while we are there!
